Homeowner Clients of Stewart Sokol & Gray recently prevailed in litigation that arose from a dispute with their Contractor over payment for their custom home. After work was completed, the Contractor asserted it was underpaid and filed a construction lien and lien foreclosure litigation. Following the arbitration hearing on the merits, the arbitrator issued his ruling finding in favor of the Stewart Sokol & Gray Homeowner Clients. Stewart Sokol & Gray established that the Homeowner Clients were entitled to a significant refund and award of fees from the Contractor, together with a release of the Contractor's lien.
